One-Day Intensive Workshop Terms & ConditionsThese Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings for Novella Dance one-day intensive workshops (“Workshop”). By confirming your booking, you agree to the terms below.1. The Company
Workshops are delivered by Haela Limited, trading as Novella Dance (“the Company”).2. Booking & Payment2.1 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed once:
• A completed booking form has been received; and
• The £50 deposit has been paid.
Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come basis.2.2 Fees
The total fee for the Workshop is £275 per couple. This includes:
• A 5-hour guided experience;
• Two structured teaching sessions; and
• Lunch for two.2.3 Deposit
If you paid a £50 deposit, this deposit secures your place at one of the workshops and is non-refundable.2.4 Balance Payment
The remaining balance of £225 is due 14 days prior to the Workshop.
If payment is not received by the due date, the Company reserves the right to release the booking.3. Cancellations3.1 Client CancellationIf you cancel:
• More than 30 days before the Workshop: any payments made beyond the deposit will be refunded.
• Within 30 days of the Workshop: the full Workshop fee becomes payable.
Due to limited spaces and advance venue and catering commitments, refunds are not available within 30 days.4. ReschedulingOne reschedule is permitted per booking, subject to availability.
• More than 30 days’ notice: no fee.
• Within 30 days: £40 rescheduling fee.
• Within 7 days: bookings are non-reschedulable and treated as cancellation.
The new date must be within 3 months of the original booking.5. Dietary Requirements
Dietary requirements must be provided at least 7 days before the Workshop. We cannot guarantee changes submitted after this time.6. Client Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
• Arrive 15 minutes early;
• Wear suitable clothing and footwear; and
• Disclose any relevant injuries or medical conditions.
Late arrival does not extend the Workshop duration.7. Health & Physical Activity
The Workshop involves physical movement. By booking, you confirm that you are physically able to participate and that you have disclosed any relevant medical conditions.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.8. Photography
Photographs or video may be taken for promotional purposes. By signing up to a workshop, you consent to being in these photographs or videos. If you would prefer not to participate, your consent may be withdrawn by emailing [email protected].9. Intellectual Property
All choreography and teaching materials remain the intellectual property of the Company and may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission.10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Company’s total liability shall not exceed the total fee paid.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.11. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for failure to deliver the Workshop due to events beyond reasonable control, including illness, venue closure, government restrictions, or extreme weather.
In such cases, an alternative date or refund will be offered.12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
